In late August 2024, heavy rains in Jianchang County, Huludao, Liaoning Province, severely damaged farmhouses, crops, and mushroom greenhouses. The disaster significantly impacted local mushroom farmers, soaking and washing away numerous mushroom logs.

Qihe Biotechnology, under General Manager Jianchang Su, promptly introduced support policies to help farmers recover and resume production.

Yangmadianzi Township, a major shiitake mushroom production area, has seen over 500 growers opt for Qihe’s high-quality and high-yielding "Qihe No. 3" strain. After the flood, several large growers faced losses with millions of mushroom logs waterlogged, necessitating remaking. Qihe Biotechnology offered affected farmers replacement "Qihe No. 3" strains matching the number of remade logs and introduced a buy-two-get-one-free policy for new logs. The Shuangquan factory operates around the clock to ensure timely replanting, with 30,000 strain packages already delivered to Huludao. Huludao disaster3

Cheng Xinmiao, a Qihe salesman, empathized with the farmers' plight during the disaster, assisting them in unloading trucks and managing their crops. He emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting farmers with powerful policies and effective technical guidance. Recently, 100,000 pre-cultured mushroom logs from Qihe were provided to Yangmadianzi Township, helping farmers secure this year's harvest. Mushroom farmer Ma Guangdong quickly ordered 46,000 logs, revived by the promise of a fruitful season. The company also offered significant discounts to affected farmers, selling pre-cultured mushroom logs at factory prices.
